Circulation Services Check out policies/procedures All library users must present proper identification to check-out library materials. No checking out materials one-half (1/2) hour before closing on any given day.
Loan Periods Renewals Overdue, Damaged or Lost Materials The library staff sends borrowers two overdue notices, but it is the borrower's responsibility to know when books are due and to return them on time. Any material more than 30 days past the overdue date is considered lost. For lost material the borrower is sent a final notice indicating that after 10 days for materials not returned or paid, the borrower's account is forwarded to the Treasurer's Office for collection and/or record attachment. The borrower will then receive an invoice to pay or clear with treasurer's office.
Reserve Materials/Library Use Only Books
and materials on reserve are shelved behind the circulation desk. Reserve
books are checked out for seven days. The fine, if reserve books are
overdue, is 50 cents per hour. Statewide
